Lilaj Festival

On September 5th, the traditional Festival "Rikudim Lilaj", organized by the Keren Kayemet Leisrael, was carried out at ORT Belgrano Auditorium. Within the framework of a People Dance, "Am Roked", 1st and 2nd-year girl students from Almagro and Belgrano campuses represented our school. And they did it very well!!!
Once again, we feel proud of their commitment, dedication (for they rehearsed for many hours), and the joy they transmitted to us through their dance. Congratulations to all our girl students, to students from the senior high-school cycle who helped during the arrangements for the event, and especially to Ariadna Faerstein - teacher of Israeli dances (Rikudim) - who coordinated and organized the choreography, through which ORT students had such a great performance.

English Immersion Program 2007

Why is it that we all like to be told stories? What magic do stories hide? It’s amazing how storytelling captivates huge audiences, in spite of the sophisticated technological advances there are in the present world.

On July 16th, the English actress Nicola Bingham, who studied at Rose Bruford college of Speech and Drama in London, carried out a storytelling show for our 1st-year-students (Belgrano campus) on scenes from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by the famous Welsh writer Roald Dahl.

Nicky Bingham proved that storytelling can be a useful, powerful tool in EFL.

Meeting on “Limits, Freedom, and Consensus”

Within the framework of the Health and Prevention Program, we have organized meetings on “Limits, Freedom, and Consensus” in both campuses. Approximately, 300 parents from the junior high school attended – a figure which exceeded our expectations.

We are already organizing the next conference which will be on “Prevention of Alcohol Consumption by Adolescents”. We will send you the details soon!

Workshop on Good Eating Habits

Within the framework of the “Health and Prevention Program”, our 1st-year students from Belgrano campus participated in a workshop with school staff and teachers from the Natural Sciences Area. They finished the first module, where they analyzed their eating habits and the importance of nutrition during development. They took the material of the workshop home to share it with their families.
