The National Day of the Solidarity Student was commemorated on October 8th at ORT Almagro campus. This new meeting between parents, students and teachers was organized with the aim of acknowledging those students who –during this school year- have participated in the different activities of the “Ceibo Project – Solidarity Students’ Program”.

It was a moving event: all the educational community shared the achievements and experiences of the group. More than 90 students of the senior high-school level were able to renovate and show day by day their commitment and responsibility in the construction of a better future.

Bronze Medal for Ezequiel Wajs

We congratulate Ezequiel Alejandro Wajs, 6th-year student from the Electronics track of ORT Technical School, Almagro campus, who has obtained a bronze medal at the XIII Latin American Olympiads in Physics, in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexican United States, which took place from September 27th to October 3rd, 2008.

“I’d like to say that it’s been one of the best experiences of my life. Apart from the academic achievements, this event has changed my point of view of the world and the people that surround me. I’m extremely happy of the bronze I have obtained (even when I thought I wouldn’t make it), but I have to admit that such happiness cannot be compared to what this trip, its people and experiences have given me”, wrote Ezequiel at the blog of the trip. http://oif-ort.blogspot.com/
