Meeting on “Limits, Freedom, and Consensus”


Within the framework of the Health and Prevention Program, we have organized meetings on “Limits, Freedom, and Consensus” in both campuses. Approximately, 300 parents from the junior high school attended – a figure which exceeded our expectations.

We are already organizing the next conference which will be on “Prevention of Alcohol Consumption by Adolescents”. We will send you the details soon!

Workshop on Good Eating Habits

Within the framework of the “Health and Prevention Program”, our 1st-year students from Belgrano campus participated in a workshop with school staff and teachers from the Natural Sciences Area. They finished the first module, where they analyzed their eating habits and the importance of nutrition during development. They took the material of the workshop home to share it with their families.

Conference: Relativity Theory



The Physics Department will organize a series of conferences throughout the year. Today, the first conference was held at Noel Werthein Auditorium. Dr. Diego Hurtado de Mendoza gave a lecture on “Einstein’s Relativity Theory” for 3rd-year students from Almagro campus.

For a Web without Barriers


On June 12th, 8 students from the ICT track –Belgrano campus- and their teachers participated in the workshop “For a Web without Barriers for Disabled People”, held at the Auditorium of the Honorable House of Representatives of the Nation. The aim of the activity was to inform the audience of website accessibility problems and the methods there are so that the information reaches equally all kind of users.

Talking with Natives

The English Department has initiated a series of meetings called “Talking with Natives”. On June 14th, 5th-year students from the Chemistry and Constructions tracks will interact with a young American girl at Noel Werthein Auditorium. She will tell the students about her experience in our country, and how she managed to enter into a different culture. The students will have some time to ask her questions on American adolescents’ habits, leisure activities, and how it is to study at the States.
